Who is Vinod Kumar Bansal?
Vinod Kumar Bansal (Born on October 26, 1946) in the Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh state. His father was a govt employee and his mother was a housewife.
He went to IIT, Banaras Hindu University. After completing his education, he worked in a chemical company JK Synthetics in Kota,
Vinod Kumar Bansal entire body became paralyzed in 1974 and he was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy, which left him physically impaired, and was predicted to shorten his lifespan.
In 1983, he met G.D. Agrawal from Mumbai, who adviced him to start coaching classes for IIT JEE aspirants. Subsequently, Vinod Kumar Bansal started teaching students, initially with 8 students at his home. A few of his students managed to clear the IIT JEE, and in 1991, he founded Bansal Classes.
