So today in this article you will get to know 5 things you should definitely do while using Chrome

Sync your Google account in Chrome on all devices

If you want to unify the Chrome browsing experience you have on multiple devices, sync Chrome with your Google ID on all devices.

To turn on sync, you’ll need a Google Account.

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click Profile.
  3. Sign in to your Google Account.
  4. If you want to sync your info across all your devices, click Turn on sync > Turn on.

Open accidentally closed tabs

Maybe you accidentally closed Chrome or your computer just got shut down due to some reason and now you don’t remember what tabs were open. You can easily overcome this problem in any of the device which has chrome, in the particular device just go to the menu section and look for a feature named restore tabs or something similar. For example on phone you can get to that by clicking on three dots, there you will see a list named recent tabs, and it will be exactly in the order in which the tabs were open in your browser. You can easily reopen all those tabs.

Change download destination

It is so annoying sometimes that you download some files from the internet and you don’t get them where you wanted them to be or you can’t find them on your computer. You can change the place of download if you want to. Navigate to Settings > Advanced > Downloads. Under location, click Change. In the pop-up box, set your downloads to be saved in a particular folder.

Manage passwords with Chrome like a pro

It is difficult to come up with new passwords every time you signup for a new website. Chrome makes it easy for you to manage passwords by remembering them for you. Whenever you log in somewhere, chrome will automatically ask you to save details for you. If you accept the request then chrome will remember these details for the next time when you want to log in. You can also make chrome suggest you strong password. For more password management features you can tweak your settings.

Use Incognito Mode for secrecy

Whenever you don’t want Chrome to record history for some time and want some anonymity on the internet, you can do it without changing any settings. To open an incognito window in Chrome, click the three-dot icon on the top-right corner of the browser and select New incognito window. On mobile, tap the three-dot icon on the bottom-right (iOS) or top-right (Android) and select New Incognito Tab.
